Silly of me to think I would have free enough time to sit down and write every single day this week. With all the shows, presentations, and events it’s hard to keep track of the things we want to commit to or produce if we don’t have a team (or a friend that is willing to risk it all for good content — mine is back home.)
By we, I mean me.
The weather was tough to pack for, as every forecast agreed on a sunny Danish Summer before I arrived, but it poured rain almost every day.
One of my favorite shows to watch during CPHFW, Saks Potts, decided to embrace the weather and remain in their original show location. The designers, Catherine Saks and Barbara Potts, mentioned this location was particularly special for them as it is across from the place they met 25 years ago: Kindergarten.
Seaside, under the rain, and with the perfect playlist.
The individual pieces such as the sequined skirts that came back in a stunning royal blue this season, the collection-exclusive Uniform Shirt with pink, yellow, and white stripes, and the silver statement coat were definitely one of the more recognizable items this season. They will be in my to-shop list.
I cheated and got myself the Uniform Shirt right before the show, though.

The next day was supposed to be a heavier one, but I went to bed probably at 5:00 AM and was not ready to take on the day. However, I ended up attending the Rolf Ekroth show and it was the most asserted choice I made all week.
The location was a short 5 minute walk from an address I literally have tattooed on my wrist, and it being at a skate arena did wonders for my nostalgia and former teenage angst.
Picture this: You’re sat in the front row, (I never promised you a) Rose Garden starts playing, and the clothes don’t stop getting better. The collection was titled “Missing", and it involved quilting, embroidered rose tags, and tech wear.
Also, take a mental note, red is in. Full power.

As for me and what I am wearing, I am excited to say you can see it on Vogue.
